My Review
This is about a girl name Aysel, she is thinking about taking her life after her father committed a horrible crime. She has been dealing with depression and she feels that death is the only way out for her. Aysel feels that she will become the same monster her father is, and she goes on the website to find ways to end her life. One day she comes across a website that helps you find a suicide partner. On this website she meets Roman aka FROZEN ROBOT, he is looking for a suicide partner and already has a specific date (the date his sister died) when he wants to do it, he just needs someone to do it with. They meet and they start to get to know each other. Roman is an athletic guy, charming and also feels responsible for his little sister’s death. As time passes both Aysel and Roman form a friendship, they fake a relationship to Roman’s parents so he will be given the freedom to leave the house and be able to plan with Aysel how they will end it all on the date Roman has chosen. The friendship with Roman makes Aysel think about other options and for the first time in a very long time, she feels like there is still hope for both of them, and she wants to find a way to make Roman see that there is still hope and they can eventually overcome the darkness that have them both willing to end their lives. This story is at times sad, funny and full of hopes. I love how the author took such a dark subject and turned it into one of hope. I’m also glad that at the end of the book the author provided resources that offer counseling and crisis information.
