My Thoughts
If you are looking for a dark story with amazing artwork then this is the book for you.
The story follow the main character Maika Halfwolf, Maika is looking for answers about her past and she has a thing growing inside of her. We a diverse of characters that are all unique in their own way with their own stories.
My favorite character was Kippa a girl with a fox tail. We get talking cats and an unique magical system. For me some parts felt very info dumpy and from the beginning I had so many questions regarding where the story was taking place.
I liked the fact that most of the main characters were female characters and the world-building was unique even though I wasn’t sure where the story took place.
Even though there’s a lot of violence and this book is dark, the ending was kind of good a good cliffhanger. I did enjoy the story and I’m looking forward to continuing with the series.
I was confused throughout the book, but the art was gorgeous!
