Book Synopsis

I HAVE A CURSE.

I HAVE A GIFT.

I’M A MONSTER.

I’M MORE THAN HUMAN.

MY TOUCH IS LETHAL.

MY TOUCH IS POWER.

I AM THEIR WEAPON.

I WILL FIGHT BACK.

No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal, but  The Reestablishment has plans for her.  Plans to use her as a weapon.  But Juliette has plans of her own.  After a lifetime without freedom, she’s finally discovering a strength to fight back for the very first time – and to find a future with the one boy she thought she’d lost forever.

My thoughts

This book follows our main character Juliette that has been locked up for many years and has a unique power, her touch can kill you.  When we first meet Juliette you can tell she’s broken and kind of insane. I love how we see her obsession with things and with Adam, although I think the insta-love was a bit too much but as I kept reading I can see why this broken girl will fall for him.

Now I won’t be spoiling things for you guys, but there is another character that we meet named Warner and there is a lot of fans of this character out there and I have to say I found him to be annoying but supposedly he becomes a very important character later on the second book.  My thing is that I adore Adam and someone spoiled this series for me I was so mad that I wasn’t going to continue on with the series but I decided that I should even though I know something not sure exactly what it is will happen.

049

The few things I didn’t like was the world building was lacking and the way the book ended, just when things were getting really good but thank goodness I have the rest of the trilogy to continue reading.

Overall, the writing was great and the story even thought was a bit predictable I really enjoyed it.
