September TBR

Well, time is definitely flying by next thing you know it’ll be December and time to Christmas.  With a new month comes a new list of books to read and this month my pile is very ambitious.  I haven’t done a TBR list in a bit but there are some books that I need to get to and I have been falling behind on my reviews.

I’m not sure if I’ll get to all these books but I will try my best and also, I have to say it’s hard for me to stick with a list of books that is one of the reasons I stopped but here I am again making a new list.  Let’s see if I stick with it.

So here are the books I’m planning on reading this month:

♦  Age of Assassins by RJ Barker I’m currently reading this story and only two chapters in and I’m very interesting to see what happens in later chapters and the fact that is about assassins well sold!

♦ Kitty Hawk and the Curse of the Yukon Gold by Iain Reading this my second current read a YA story about a girl going on an adventure.

♦ Halls of Law by V.M. Escalada after reading the synopsis for this new epic fantasy series I had to get my hands on it.  The story follows a young girl that comes from a military family and all she wanted was to be a soldier but she has a talent and is sent to the Halls of Law and that is all I’m going to say and that I can’t wait to finally read it.

♦ Conspiracy of Ravens, Book 2 of The Shadow by Lila Bowen I loved book one The Wake of Vultures where we first meet Nettie Lonesome later referred to Rhett.  This is a western/fantasy tale with monsters and diversity topics and with the main protagonist dealing with his/her sexuality.

♦ The Stone Sky, book 3 of The Broken Earth Trilogy by N.K. Jemisin I absolutely adore the first book in this trilogy The Fifht Season this story tells the story of three different woman living in a world that is threaten constantly with seismic catastrophe ending one age and starting a new one.  There is so much in this and I can’t wait to see what how everything is wrapped up.

♦ The Selection by Kiera Cass I had this books for a while now and I finally read the novella The Selection Stories: The Prince and The Guard, and I LOVED it, I can even say which story I liked the best since I loved them both equally so I decided that it is time to pick the first book in this series.

♦ Clockwork Angel, Book 1 of The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare I have this series for a while and I miss the shadowhunter world and after reading Lady Midnight I need more of it, plus this takes place in Victorian London!

♦ Roseblood by A.G. Howard I’m a big fan of the Phantom of the Opera and this looks like a promising story that I can’t pass on and it’s been in my TBR pile since January so it’s time to pick it up and show it some love.

So, these are books I’m planning on reading of course I may get to all of them and then some but I just want to keep it short for now.  This list may be subject to changes LOL.
